I love witnessing TCGPlayer's customer support workflow live and in color. Issue occurs > customer opens support ticket > support is unresponsive or unhelpful > customer follows up > customer tags them on socials desperate for ANYONE to help them @kramaramb.bsky.social I hope they fix this for you

Twitter post: "Is it normal for TCGplayer to hold your money hostage? Apparently I'm not allowed to have more than $2,000 in store credit at any given time. An arbitrary rule that isn't mentioned anywhere, mind you. . We're going on day 5 with absolutely no communication on my funds. Funds which I have been trying to use as a customer on their site! If it was $50-75 i wouldnt be tripping but this is nearly 3k of store credit and being ghosted by their service team does NOT instill faith in their buyer system. What the actual heck is happening?"

Thinking about commander games in terms of "who is the threat" oversimplifies multiplayer gameplay strategy in a way that is not actually beneficial. Sure, players pull ahead sometimes, but it is more helpful to focus on other things in multiplayer gameplay:

We have encountered SO many new players who are overwhelmed by the complexity of the precon they happened to with. Seriously. The number is high. We'd love to be able to keep these on hand to give to those new players so they have a lower stress option to play if they want an easier on ramp. 🙂

I've gotten a fair number of DM'ed questions about how we sort and inventory our cards, and how we package them up to ship. I am realizing that not knowing how to do those things is a barrier for a lot of magic players. What if I did a stream about it? 🤔

Here's what we do! • Pull any cards for EDH decks • $5+ value is sold on @manapool.com • $1-5 is traded in on @cardsphere.com for booster packs • bulk rares are traded in at ~$0.10/piece at events for store credit (for booster packs) • bulk is donated to friends with kids or MagiKids or libraries 💖
