I'm Justin from Killer Quail Studios AKA KQS. Based in SLC Utah I like videogames, Pokemon Master https://linktr.ee/KillerQuailStudios

It's been a bit since I updated my fitness journey but it's been going good. Weighing myself for the week I've hit 225, officially a total of 40 lbs lost. I can also do a pull-up too! Now it means I need a new goal which is always the nice thing about fitness. It's never really over.

I haven't posted this in a while but wanted to share my fitness progress. I weighed myself this week and I'm 229, I've lost 36 lbs so far! Definitely starting to see progress. I need to buy some new belts today. I'm too skinny now. Still got a ways to go. but I'm really happy with myself.

Forgot to talk about HachiCon. I had a lot of fun last weekend. I was a part of the media team and it was cool being a part of the crew, got full access to behind the scenes and felt proud of the hard work I've put in to get here. Got a cool shirt and headband. Now I have to go through all my pics.

I found a cool park that has an obstacle course plus a 40 yard dash. This is my time on the 40 yard dash. I know 9.28 (9.6 1st sprint) isn't impressive but it's pretty good for someone who hasn't sprinted in 20 years. I did it twice and I wasn't winded. My endurance has increased immensely.

2nd life update: Some time ago I submitted an application to be a photographer at a Convention I like and I got the job! So I celebrated with my new lens. It's a big boi! Compared to my original zoom kit lens. Same focal length (105mm) but way better aperture f2.8>f4.0 can't wait to field test it!

Haven't done one of these in a while. This week I'm 236. I have lost a total of 29 lbs. I wanna punch that last pound. To make it an even 30. Getting closer to a real pull up. Tried to deadlift 225 without grips. Did 6, not bad. Gonna do a Spartan Race with my hairdresser next year. Bring it on.

Can't believe it's been 10 years since Iwata passed. Super cool guy, extremely talented and was the heart of old Nintendo. He was one of us, not just a big executive type. (Insert my fav pics) Truly one of a kind, and a true gamer at heart. I really miss him and the old Nintendo. RIP

Sometimes you don't realize how much you have changed. It usually feels normal, nothing special but today I tried some clothes that I haven't been able to fit into but too stubborn to throw out. Guess what, they fit. They fit good. I like this new change. I'm proud of myself.

Forgot to update last week but better late than never. So these 2 weeks I lost 4lbs so I've lost 22lbs total! Been doing good with everything too. Closer to doing a task pull up (only 50lbs assistance). It feels good getting stronger. Life has been good and been really proud of myself.

I need to watch the State of Play stuff but what I've seen is good. The James Bond game reminds me of the Jason Bourne game on the 360. A PlayStation fight stick sounds cool. Please be highly customizable & use Sawna Parts. It's nice OG RE2 & 3 will come to the PS classics thingy. Just let me buy it

Someday I should just pivot to & do fitness stuff. Personally I don't think I would belong. I'm getting healthier for health reasons. Don't wanna get beetus & cancer With all the game industry stuff going on I've been much more jaded. I will just play indie games forever. I'll find my place someday

One thing I've been happy for is working with a personal trainer. I was reluctant at first but it paid off so much. My squat was really bad. I was losing breath but he taught me tech to help with breathing & power. Lifting heavy circles is all about technique. It's fun learning how to use your body.

Forgot to put up my weekly fitness pic. Was feeling unconfident these past 2 weeks, my bench press & squat have been terrible. Had to bail out & dropped a weight. But this week I slayed that dragon of doubt. I hit a 135 bench press for 3 sets of 10. Squat better with 8 reps of 185. Still progressing
