Prompts a fun question: whats the most niche historical inaccuracy in a piece of work that annoys you Not like 'oh they were referring to the wrong king' , more 'they had the wrong king on a banknote in one scene'

It's quite an odd feeling I am not enjoying, to constantly jump from excitement to dread, to dread then excitement, back and forth— or else feel both simultaneously— because this week is both Jury Duty (tomorrow) and The Devils (Thursday)

If you WERE close friends for years, you're STILL close friends, even if contact is sporadic. To me only, apparently. I don't believe in quid pro quo but it'd be nice to have irl friends interested/support my creative endeavors like I do theirs. Out of happiness at their success of doing the Thing.

Wtf is this bullshit (the article, not JD)? If you're a woman & a voracious reader of all ages of books, you CANNOT "only read women." It's impossible. A man can read ONLY men, of course, & most do. The horror community is a BIT better, but a lot of men/pubs STILL only mostly read/publish men.

I realize a little late, the article points to women only reading women and men reading men. Octavia Butler is THE author who made me want to write. Shirley Jackson heavily influenced In the House of In Between. Countess by Suzan Palumbo is the diverse Star Trek/Foundation I want to see.

Watched V/H/S Mixtape &, well, mixed bag, per usual. This one isn't scary at all, which makes me sad because the first ones genuinely unnerved me.
