A man Kaoru vaguely recognizes enters the restaurant, and Kaoru’s first thoughts are handsome and muscular and stupidly attractive. The man must be around his own age, and he has boyish floppy green hair that is slightly damp from getting caught in the rain. He’s quite tan, and has a large tattoo of a sun on his shoulder that is visible thanks to his ridiculously revealing tank-top that has the Orion brewery company logo stretched tight across his chest. Kaoru approaches to greet him since the waiter on duty is on his break. The man’s smile is disarmingly sweet. “Sorry, are you open for much longer? I’ve been dying to try this place out, and completely forgot to check the hours before coming. And uh… is there a dress code?”

Matchablossom Bang, posting in May Snippet: “You back off,” Kojiro retorts, leaning in harder so Kaoru’s head is forced back a little. “I got here first—” “No, I got here first, stop following me—” “You’re the one who’s following me—” Kaoru presses his forehead back against Kojiro’s, but the stupid lump’s head must be made of stone because he doesn’t budge. Instead, his eyes dart down, flicking to Kaoru’s lips as if he has to see them move to understand his words. Thickhead. Kaoru’s about to say as much when he notices Kojiro’s scowl tilt up into a grin, the beginnings of his gonna-do-something-extra-stupid expression, and Kaoru feels a rush of adrenaline in his veins even before he knows what Kojiro’s about to do, which is— “What the fuck!” Kaoru reels back in shock. His lips tingle from the phantom pressure of—of—“Did you just…just kiss me?”
