「𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒅𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒆𝒓」 The Knight lingered within a space of perversed Aether— perversed life. A Dark Reality. Such is the Void's nature. A quiet meditation, at it's depths. Wondering: if more exposure to this form of Aether will aid in stabilizing it, within himself.

「DRAGON'S DOGMA II: DARK ARISEN SPOILER」 "An evil that must be silenced..."

Poor past life decisions. Poor alternate reality life decisions. Poor parenting decisions. Evil employers and child abuse. Forced to be something he originally wasn't, at the cost of his own personality, and traumatic recovery. Poor emotional responses to outside forces. The list goes on...

Why is your WoL/OC Like This™ (aka "what is their backstory")? Bad summaries only! #wolqotd

Our horrors upon the surface— fears: played for laughs, and made fallow. For these seeds to germinate into: masks, cloaks, and garb. We prance about, wearing our sins as ensemble. Venturing to and fro— presenting ourselves drapped in nightamres of eld, —

In his right hand, he drew forth Yototsuki, his Voidborn armament— momentarily taking the shape of a katana. In his left— darkness coalesced into a shape, before solidifying into form— Zantetsuken. Raikoh examined the pair: new possibilities churning within his heart. ...He smirks.

"Open your eyes... Open up the clear blue sky. I'll be there... To hold you close in my mind. Can you see the snow... Melting down the sea blow. Celebrate a brand new day... To start again..." Singing to himself, alone— sat upon the roof of his FC House.

"Keep walking, Raikoh... Fret not the happenings from across the hall, and mind thine own business..." Sighs, continues on his way.

LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!

"Draíocht. Runic. Xi. Onmyōdō. Heka. So on, and so forth. Studying a myriad of Aetherial applications, through various practices of magecraft, has been... enlightening. I must develop myself further."

Heavily sighing. "That time of the week again? I shall exclude myself from such an event."

"Will slaying HIM... finally put an end to mine suffering..? Nay... knowing of this horrid fate before me, I doubt..."

Sitting alone, somewhere within the Twelveswood. The Knight was resting upon the roots of a great tree; a small pool of crystalline water lay bare before him. A cloth and dagger occupied his hands— cleaning the worn blade, whilst his crimson greatsword rested besides him, faintly glowing.

A sudden bout of weakness washed over the Knight. His armored hand was raised to hold his head— a splitting headache, or something akin to it. With it, came a measure of forgetfulness; as if he's memories of someone were... erased.

Putting a carving dagger to a small slab of wood. Humming a rather familiar tone.

"It would be a rather poor surprise, if this 'Dark Territory', were directly connected to the Palace of the Dead..."

For anyone paying a visit to Raikoh's private chambers: they would be able to find a message upon his desk. His usual workspace— cluttered with tomes, maps, and recorded notes; all of it had been cleared, cleaned, and organized, leaving only this one note. —

". . . Hunt in the Dark, so they can live in the Light. Mine time is better suited here, after all . . ."
