Anecdotal example: I happened across the Filter node in Blender’s compositor while trying to make a VHS-style overlay that would run more efficiently on my hardware than many of the pre-made ones that are available.

The main focuses here are the processes of iteration that come from filming practically, which can also extend into other human-centric processes like 2D and 3D animation. Prompting a diffusion model turns that into a complete gamble, and loses the context.

I'm not saying this will never happen in a million years, most of my projects are in limbo rn and if I have the confidence and the demand, I'll see what I can do with it. I've been hiding this for a good while cause I was too nervous to show it off and also reason #5 (4/4)
