Jane Doe and Kendall Francis are not alone. 1 in 4 women experience sexual violence while in college. And Trump’s Dept of Ed. is doing nothing to address it. They have gutted the very Office tasked with enforcing Title IX and formally reinstated regulations that weaken protections for survivors.

Republicans failed to repeal the ACA because it’s popular. Instead, they have tried to inflict death by a thousand cuts through as many schemes as they can to undermine it. Everyone deserves to access the care they need it when they need it. I’ll keep fighting to ensure they get it.

Breaking news: Vice President JD Vance is set to announce that the administration is removing hundreds of thousands of people from Affordable Care Act coverage, saying that they were fraudulently enrolled in the government health program.

The Freedom Riders faced a violent backlash across the Deep South leading to the ban on racial discrimination in interstate transportation and terminal facilities on this day 65 years ago. We can repay that debt by fighting to ensure the progress they gained does not slip away.
