We did it again! A year after our first workshop, @jellekoedam.bsky.social, @tinepaulsen.bsky.social, @nicolaiberk.bsky.social, and I welcomed another fantastic group of researchers to Zurich. Two days of thoughtful discussions, new connections, and lots of fun... 🏊 Thanks to everyone who joined!

‼️ O, Canada is now in CHES! The data include party position estimates for federal parties in Canada + parties in Ontario and Quebec. It's also super easy to combine with other @chesdata.bsky.social data to compare positions with positions of parties in other countries!

📢 New study alert! We (@JelleKoedam.bsky.social, Daniele Caramani and I) examine the ideological profile of technocratic-minded citizens across nine Western democracies, and find that they are *not* necessarily ‘neutral’ or ‘pragmatic’. ejpr.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10....

CHES party positions are now also available for Canada! Thank you @rdassonneville.bsky.social and @chesdata.bsky.social for a great collaboration. See 🧵 below for more!
