I could’ve just pointed and laughed at the same rote shit everyone else does to seem cool. Avoided some bad places. I honestly can’t say my life’s better having read them

Ocarina of Time feels so much like a Zelda II that doesn’t assume you have a book next to you/an infinite summer to play it. The way you trade items around. The enemies having distinct attack patterns you have to duck ‘n’ weave between. Rauru’s in both! All this to say, Zelda II? Pretty good game!

As someone who just found out about it from some schmuck on YouTube, the Namcollection fascinates me because you get five PlayStation titles on the PS2; you could play them via backwards compatibility, but then you’d miss out on the PS2’s lack of model and texture warping. That alone makes this rad.
Everyone calls Sonic the Hedgehog for the Xbox 360 and PS3 “Sonic 06” despite not launching on the latter ‘til 2007. So, it’s completely fair, to me, to call it Sonic ‘06-7.

Oh yeah, I beat Ocarina of Time again! It’s a timeless masterpiece that I am so, so excited to explore all over again and gush over all the new added detail. But don’t let that subtract from how unmistakably golden the original game is on its own merits. In it’s design, it’s enemies, it’s characters
Ocarina of Time makes the bold decision of giving you Knuckles Arrows first. You have to earn Sonic Arrows in Gerudo’s Training Grounds, and Tails rounds you out at the end as a gift from Zelda.
Nintendo could very easily release a Nintendo Classics DK Bongos controller, anything’s possible, we got D Hopper, nothing’s off the table anymore
