I can't count the number of times some idiot argues with me in the comments section of an economics video that the US healthcare system is fine, and that we should be lucky we don't have something like Europe has, then they just ghost me when you ask by what metric they think the US is better.

Honestly, I wish the Dems would get a talent with great communication skills like Pete Buttigieg or AOC to come out and give updates routinely to run a campaign for the entirety of the next four years like Trump did. The campaign is everything you do whether you like it or not. Be effective!

🇺🇸 is not a business. It’s Billionaires like O’Leary & Musk & Trump vs. underpaid civil servants who make this country what it is. “Efficiency” is the excuse. Greed is the reason. The trillions in tax cuts for the rich are all the evidence you need.

Our place in the world is already doomed. China's getting past having to copy us and into innovating, and they beat us at production of most goods years ago. AI in the hands of our brand of capitalists just means lost jobs because they believe increasing efficiency is meant to replace workers.

Our next president will have to be technologically competent, at least , in order for us to sustain our place in the world. This will become increasingly obvious over the next 4 years as AI gets more powerful This isn’t necessarily bad. Truly. Done right, we will be a better, more equal society

Watching for the US to get their asses handed to them by our Canadian friends. The look on the face of the US players in the face of proud Canadians intensely welcoming their team seemed to imply a feeling of, "Oh, fuck..."
