Thrilled to share my first corresponding author paper with my PhD supervisors S.Bontemps (@lcc-smac.bsky.social), @obasle.bsky.social and A.Lledos! We report a new air- and water-persistent C-centered radical anion via Frustrated Lewis Pair (FLP) activation of CO2. (doi.org/10.1021/jacs...)

Air- and Water-Persistent C-Centered Radical Anion Based on FLP-Type-Activated CO2

Organic radicals play pivotal roles in chemistry, biology, and materials science. Although typically short-lived and highly reactive, considerable efforts have been devoted to stabilizing open-shell m...

📢DNA templates are no longer required for efficient nucleic acid ligation. 💡We introduce Charge-Transfer Assisted Ligation (CTAL): a new templated reactivity based on π-stacking donor–acceptor interactions (DAN/NDI), not base pairing. 📄 chemistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10

Our work on Enantioselective Artificial PhotoDNAzyme now live on ChemRxiv tinyurl.com/mwtpd96u Our work merges synthetic transition-metal photocatalysis with the chiral environment of DNA to achieve visible-light-driven, enantioselective [2+2] cycloadditions.
