It’s really nice to log in somewhere for a moment and see your friends all talking to each other. I know everyone hates social media and cheers its demise but I love to watch a great conversation bring people together.

Walk up to coffee bar at my hotel in pdx. There’s a big sign: STUMPTOWN COLD BREW PROUDLY SERVED. I ask for a cold brew. Barista says they don’t do cold brew. I ask about the sign. She says, “it’s just a sign, we don’t even serve STUMPTOWN.” Sign divorced from symbol. 🔥 advanced level.
