There's never enough time to watch, read, listen to, and play all the media I want to. I'm one of the Muppet nerds from @toughpigs.com (he/him)
Some people think Ernie and Bert are brothers. But why? We're trying to figure that out, and pointing out all the evidence to the contrary.
Why Do People Think Ernie and Bert Are Brothers? - ToughPigs
Some people think Ernie and Bert are brothers. Where did they get that idea?

We're watching The X-Files... It's Staci's first time ever and my first time seeing a lot of the early episodes. Hulu isn't giving the option to skip the intro and I'm okay with that.
By the way, this is not to imply that there won't be any other demographics in the theater. I hope there will be!
What a voice. I'm going to a 40th anniversary screening of The Transformers: The Movie in a few weeks. I was already expecting to hear a few 40-something men in the theater sniffling when Optimus Prime dies, but now...

If this "recording" is a new discovery to you, we recommend you check out The Muppet Show on Disney Plus, or search for Muppet Show clips on YouTube! There's a lot more great stuff where this came from!
Found this recording of Rita Moreno performing “Fever” on The Muppet Show from 1976. 14/10
I filled a glass to the midway point with Coke Zero. Then I filled it the rest of the way with regular Coke. I've invented Coke Half!
My local movie theater is part of a regional, family-owned chain. They just changed the pre-movie "Welcome to our theater, please buy food, etc.," presentation for the first time since 2019. I'm thrilled to see that the family's acting is as stiff as ever.
A family in the 1980s vs. dinosaurs, an American man meets a mysterious woman in Italy, Jason's determined to get the golden fleece, Spider-Man vs. too many subplots. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched
Would it be feasible for one of the big cinema chains to advertise "Starting now, fewer previews and no commercials before the movie! No more than 3 trailers, then your movie starts!" It would be a good experiment, considering it's one of the top three complaints of people who avoid movie theaters.
A baby came to visit my house. She pulled these dividers out of my comic book shelves. (I wasn't mad. She's just a baby!) When she's old enough to read, I'm going to loan her a big stack of these comics and say "Here are the comics you asked for." It will be very funny. To me.
Gen a.i. images creeping into community theater productions. I kept getting distracted during musical numbers of a show because they were projecting crappy, muddy-looking a.i. backgrounds behind the cast. Shouldn't a theater (which used artists to paint other backdrops) use ARTISTS to draw those?
I'm really starting to think of it this way. Especially considering how defensive some people get when you question or criticize it.
We're laughing at this guy for saying something dumb while in the throes of AI addiction, but now I'm wondering if we shouldn't treat it like a drug or alcohol problem. These people need help.
Two Japanese teenagers switch bodies, a frog ventures outside the swamp, lounge singer Whoopi Goldberg poses as a nun, a married couple finds out they're not legally married. An eclectic #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched But all about characters venturing outside their comfort zones!
Emails from Democratic politicians asking for money always have subjects like "Honestly, it's looking really bad" and "I'm on my knees, crying and begging you." What do the Republican email subjects say? I'm guessing stuff like "Let's DESTROY them" and "Gimme more money NOW or you'll DIE."
I see this quote attributed to Dr. Seuss a LOT, showing up on inspirational posters, mugs, notecards, etc. Problem is, he never said it. It's likely from the 1899 poem "Bright Days" by German poet Ludwig Jacobowski, who wrote “Night weinen, weil she voruber! / Lacheln, weil sie gewesen!”

I knew it! I knew Sadie Sink was playing Janine Godbe in Brand New Day!
We're back to the point where hit movies are coming out often and lots of people are seeing them, which leads to lots of people coming up with dumb takes on them. Cinema is healing.
We've gotta make the Monorail Simpsons episode required viewing for every city councilor in the country. Every single thing he says here is a lie. A Potemkin Village Imaginarium.
Hassett: "Data centers are very good for towns bc they create so many jobs & bring people in with high incomes that can buy houses & stuff like that. So if you take a sleepy town that hasn't seen much in the last 30 years & put a data center there, there are gonna be a bunch of happy residents."
In high school I did improv. There was a game called "Here Comes Charlie Now," in which a group of performers play friends discussing a mutual acquaintance. They keep bringing up ridiculous and bizarre traits, habits, and facts about him, until eventually 1/2
Fact: Bean Bunny's "Speed Bingo" is the best minigame in the 2003 video game Muppets Party Cruise. And here's why.

"Speed Bingo" from Muppets Party Cruise is great. Let me tell you why.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is great because Michael Caine treats the Muppets like riveting guns, and Muppet Treasure Island is great because Tim Curry treats himself like a Titleist golf bag.
Why do we have the national anthem at sporting events anyway? Is it one of those things that started during a war and never went away?
