Let’s be real. Hyo brought Hyorisoo together to make Skibidi because she wanted more SNSD stuff to work with in her DJ sets 😂😂😂
Alright, so I survived the Hobonichi 2027 drop day online ordering frenzy. Now I have to survive the pre-event registration frenzy for the business conference I’m going to next month. 🫠
sorry if I seem weird and intense now, it’s because I’m now weird and intense
Me playing NEO TWEWY: Look, I just want to get to the part where I see Neku’s glow up.
This is an amazing video covering the architecture of Hong Kong, its unqie culture and the fundamental tug of war of preserving vs. replacing the structures that exist around the city. Well done! youtu.be/FnPo0eTIRJQ?...

There it is. While you struggle to afford groceries, or find any that are edible, and pay thousands more every year in gas, rent, utilities, childcare, and healthcare, they are laughing all the way to the bank.
I want a $300 leather jacket, tonight. I could just steal it, but if you say that's illegal and wrong, then YOU make me a leather jacket by tonight. I'll pay you what I'd pay my fence which is $15. Can't do it, huh?? Seems stealing is superior after all 😏😏😏
"I'm entitled to whatever I want whenever I want it for any reason and I don't care what satisfying these urges does to me or the world" well okay dude, seems like there's something deeper going on here, but that's just my take
Went to the post office today to pick up mail. Got to thinking about their financial strains and what life would be like without them. Idk, post offices seem more like community experiences compared to the busyness of SF Express. Just another thing that we might lose in our pursuit of convenience.
Whenever I notice myself doomscrolling on YouTube recently, I swap over to my other account where my algorithm has decided to give me an endless flood of software engineering and data analytics tutorials. I don’t understand everything they’re saying but I feel much better.
Some positive publishing news to counter some of the doomerism: total book sales, and adult fiction specifically, increased in 2025. Print was 73% of market and digital audio/ebook 22%. (I guess the remaining is physical audio?) www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/...

Tfw you’re watching great depression recipes on YouTube, then realizing they’re just recipes you’d cook today to save money. #RecessionIndicator
Really rooting for Alex Eala but damn, the rowdy kababayans need to take it down a notch. Yelling in the middle of a serve and a rally is in such poor taste. Can’t be acting like that while also proudly waving the Philippine flag.

"A History of Video Games Through Mass Extinction" Excellent and necessary summary by @molleindustria.org of what’s been happening in games - and how to think of it not so much just from an industry / capitalistic perspective, but a cultural one. (and yes, I am a yarn seller in this context 🙃)

AI companies are destroying our collective shared history to put it into their slop buckets, because the slop they push out would destroy their models if they tried to re-input it
companies are sourcing millions of printed books for AI labs that scan them for training data, then destroy them. printed books are more valuable because they're free of AI slop, and AI labs know destroying them is an "optics problem." www.404media.co/ai-companies...
Signed up for the 5K event at HK Disneyland Magic Run Fest. Gotta get off my unfit butt and actually train for this thing. 🐋
