It is good to be home and have a variety of choices about what I might do with myself when I need a break. I think I shall lay down my weary head on my bed and consider what I should like to do with the remainder of my day before I continue with it.

I am grateful for the people in my life that have to rely upon me to make sure that things are in order, and who appreciate my skills. When they hand me things that are out of order, at least I know I can come to them and explain what I am doing to fix it or what I need.

I am very lucky as a growing artist to have at least one person who is just as dedicated to it doing it with me. We are doing exercises and exploring on a schedule. It is akin to going to the gym with a partner. We study on Sunday and we explore on Tuesday every week.

I really appreciate how far we have come late at night when I'm having trouble sleeping. I remember being 10, having insomnia and sneaking down to the couch and flipping through the broadcast stations at 2 am. There were like 5 available. B movies and infomercials. Maybe a documentary.

It is interesting to watch the reaction to AI media creation become a huge pushback. Authenticity is so sought after. People are really pushing to become better creators as we get more disillusioned by it.

Something that is hard for artists who are trying to make beginning progress notice that is not necessarily taken very seriously is the inaccessibility of art tutorials. Things can be easily glazed over by experienced artists as they sort of take their own skill for granted.
