Hey so Roz needs our help getting out of tour limbo. He's trying to get a fresh start on the west coast after what has been a really crazy couple months & anything y'all can throw his direction would make an enormous difference with softening that blow. Venmo - @JamesSherrill23 Cashapp - $DJRozwell
dj rozwell@djrozwell.bsky.social · 3w agoHey everyone. Full transparency: today's Houston date is canceled. Several other dates, including the entire tour after pittsburgh, will be canceled too unless i can either get some funds together for a train ticket or secure transportation to the west coast dates. I am not giving up yet, though.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 Coming back on here to say I'm going on tour! My good friend Leila Abdul-Rauf and I are hitting the east coast this Fall for a string of dates! Playing in Canada for the first time as well! Hope to see some friends on these days. Hail Vael!
I am playing a show with my friend Mick Barr on June 25 at The Rhizome in DC. Local friends, lets hang. You can watch me go "doot doot" and then see Mick go "diddly diddly doo"
I've met a few people irl now telling me they know me from bsky and, look, I love you all, but how is that even possible when I post roughly once a month. How severely online are you people. I do not come here at all to get this reaction.
Hello! It is bandcamp Friday. Its also been 1 year since the release of my crooning neofolk record of sad gay tunes - Death In Its Decadence Much love for the support youve given this record. It means a lot. vaelastrasz.bandcamp.com
Hello 👋 Monthly proof of life to remind people of my presence here. Here's a family portrait of My Evil Giant Wife, Flop Dog the birthday balloon dog that flops about, and of course yours truly. The other night in the beautiful nation-state of Baltimore.
Not sure if the NEDS crew is on Bluesky, but @unsheathedglory.bsky.social and @dungeonsynth.bsky.social are! They’ll be performing at the Dungeon Skirmish February 28 in Worcester MA Also ft. a DJ set by Phranick (poster design by me)
There is nothing more self-harming than being an artist. Anyway, I have tapes out for my latest album, and a slew of other things. vaelastrasz.bandcamp.com

IT IS BANDCAMP FRIDAY MY OVERLORDS HAVE PUT OUT TAPES OF MY RECENT ALBUM OF SAD AMBIENT NEOFOLK SONGS GIVE THEM MONEY, OR GIVE ME MONEY WITH DIGITAL SALES vaelastrasz.bandcamp.com/album/death-...
Hudson Williams looks like a guy that was meant to be the 2nd coming of James Duval; a muse meant for a creative director to make explicitly queer movies for nerds. But they have him out here doing a show about hockey and gay sex. Should be about aliens and gay sex.
Live shot of me performing last in NYC @ TV Eye Pic by Kaptain Carbon
People like to bring up stuff like the MCU and the Big Bang Theory as reasons for the death of proper nerd culture, which makes sense, but you can make a strong case that the late 2000s/early 2010s prevalence to make fun of anything 'cringe' was also a key contributor
BANDCAMP FRIDAY FUNDRAISER Today all of Realm and Ritual's physical and digital sales will be donated the the National Immigration Law Center, an organization dedicated to advancing and defending the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants. realmandritual.bandcamp.com
Hails, friends It is bandcamp Friday. Any support in this case would help tremendously as I face the idiotic, looming hospital bills from my recent bout with appendicitis. You can support my projects here. And of course, Hail Vael. vaelastrasz.bandcamp.com
Took out my appendix now my ass in baltimore to play dark ambient musick so you fuckers better come out or else I'll rupture your ass
For every time my name gets dropped in a "queer/poc artists recommendation" thread i get a little bit more gayer and a little bit more asian
I got the gay esoteric industrial musick butthole on my chest now
DC cops are going to have a handful tonight (Swans and Ethel Cain are both playing tonight)
