Our goal is aimed to challenge, motivate, inspire, and empower women who want to enter into the technology field or want to gain real-life insights into the world of technology.There are five criteria to meet to be eligible to be a mentee in the program: 1. You identify as a woman and are 18+ years of age 2. You are currently living in Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), or United States(US) 3. You are currently studying, working, or pursing a career in the technology field 4. You are available to meet with your mentor at least every two weeks over the 12-week program 5. You are able to attend the kick-off, mid-program, and graduation events (these will be held virtually).

I just learned that it’s not one engineer who mostly built the Bluesky iOS and Android clients with React Native. No. It’s one engineer (@pfrazee.com) who mostly built the iOS, Android apps *and* web clients with RN and expo. I tip my hat: impressive!!

React Native has come a long way and Bluesky is a testament that choosing this technology (or another cross-platform one like Flutter) is sensible for many startups over starting native. Bluesky is on iOS and Android, performance is excellent, and built by 1 engineer AFAIK (!!) - @pfrazee.com.
