I’m so appreciative for the people who came to my concert tonight! Whether I’m playing for 42,000 people or 42, I give it my all for every gig. Perhaps it’s the reason why I’m so exhausted afterwards! I can’t do it any other way.

I still can’t believe that this is actually hanging up in the high school that I went to and that I was chosen! I wouldn’t consider myself to be the most popular student (far from it) or even close to being the smartest, but one thing that I can say is that I’m very persistent!

I was just thinking today that I think I’ve hit my stride as a baseball organist. Not that I was playing bad before, but things are a lot more automatic these days. I’m more comfortable in trying new things as well as keeping the old classics. It only took 18 seasons!

Sometimes something purely coincidental turns into something beautiful and magical at a game! Playing “Country Roads”, with the amazing fans joining in and continuing to sing, all while Matt Olson hitting a home run was one of those magical moments! I’ll remember it forever!

I’m so happy that the Beach Boys Sirius XM channel is back (for a short time)! In my car it’s channel 105 and they’ve been playing a lot of deep cuts along with the usual favorites. I can’t believe that I heard Dennis Wilson singing The Baseball Song on the radio!
