Season 18 in the books. I’m so appreciative of all the support from my family, colleagues, and fans this season! I have a lot of great memories from the interactions that I’ve had, both inside and outside of the stadium.Thank you so much! ❤️
Around 25 years ago, I fulfilled one of my musical dreams of playing in an organ trio (on my Hammond B3) with Micah Cadwell (guitar) and Mike Dana (drums). This Saturday, Oct. 3rd, my jazz organ journey continues with the same trio at the new Churchill Grounds in Decatur! churchillgroundsjazz.com
18th regular season in the books. Bring on the playoffs!
Now that the regular season games for the Braves are coming to a close, I’ll have more time on my schedule to devote to teaching. Can you do me a favor and help spread the word to anyone who would like to learn the piano, organ, or accordion? You can direct them to www.matthewkaminski.com. Thanks!
I’m so appreciative for the people who came to my concert tonight! Whether I’m playing for 42,000 people or 42, I give it my all for every gig. Perhaps it’s the reason why I’m so exhausted afterwards! I can’t do it any other way.
We have another member of the “Kaminski #61” jersey club! Thank you Meg!
I still can’t believe that this is actually hanging up in the high school that I went to and that I was chosen! I wouldn’t consider myself to be the most popular student (far from it) or even close to being the smartest, but one thing that I can say is that I’m very persistent!
Special OKTOBERFEST event! www.eddieowenpresents.com
Game 1403 as the organist for the Braves today. 🎹
Going over my polka charts for our BIG Oktoberfest gig on Sept. 19th. Please mark your calendars for this special event at The Red Clay Music Foundry (Eddie Owen Presents) in Duluth! What songs would you like to hear?
I was just thinking today that I think I’ve hit my stride as a baseball organist. Not that I was playing bad before, but things are a lot more automatic these days. I’m more comfortable in trying new things as well as keeping the old classics. It only took 18 seasons!
I just updated my gig calendar - www.matthewkaminski.com. Make sure to mark your calendars for the big Oktoberfest gig on Sept. 19th!
This was a real surprise to see a picture of myself on the big screen today before the game! I’m not too sure why or who decided to put it up, but I appreciate the gesture!
Doing some research for my OKTOBERFEST gig at The Red Clay Music Foundry on Sept. 19th. Mark your calendars!
MONDO HAMMONDO! Next gig: Tuesday, July 28th (7pm - 10pm) at Trader Vic’s in Atlanta @TraderVicsATL

Gig update: I’ll be making my return to Eclipse Di Luna (Alpharetta), playing the keyboard for Orquesta MaCuba this Friday, July 10th from 7:30pm - 11pm. NOTE: Our gig on Saturday, July 11th at Eclipse Di Luna has been cancelled. I apologize to those who were planning on going.
Thank you to those who let me know that the tv broadcasters were complimenting my work (we usually don’t have the tv audio on). It means a lot when visiting commentators notice what I’m doing. I’m just trying my best!
Sometimes something purely coincidental turns into something beautiful and magical at a game! Playing “Country Roads”, with the amazing fans joining in and continuing to sing, all while Matt Olson hitting a home run was one of those magical moments! I’ll remember it forever!
Mark your calendars! Oktoberfest at the Red Clay Music Foundry with my band, “The Georgia Polka Connection”! Saturday, September 19th, which is the official start of the Oktoberfest season! eddieowenpresents.freshtix.com/events/georg...

I’m so happy that the Beach Boys Sirius XM channel is back (for a short time)! In my car it’s channel 105 and they’ve been playing a lot of deep cuts along with the usual favorites. I can’t believe that I heard Dennis Wilson singing The Baseball Song on the radio!
I wish I had a nickel for every time I heard this!
I’m sorry to have to report that my critically acclaimed batting practice concert has been cancelled today. Thank you for your understanding.
