We were at the Kirkcolm Community Hub to deliver Trustee training. Dedicated volunteers keep the Hub thriving, with the addition of containers in the car park for storage for the community. The Hub hosts multiple activities & groups - when we were there, it was yoga! Thanks to all for attending.

This is a picture showing the location of Kirkcolm in Dumfries and Galloway, photos of the community hub inside and outside, photo of a panel with information on the area, and photo of the car park with the new cladded containers that local people can rent for storage.

Thanks to Fochabers Village Association for meeting us at the Fochabers Public Institute, saved through an Asset Transfer. The Hall is now a well-used community asset. The Association also works on other projects including refurbishing the local playpark. Thanks to Liz, Ian & Sam for meeting us!

In November, we visited The Cabrach Trust. A project selection: refurbishment of the Old School building, rural skills & heritage work, refurbished Smiddy building, Discovery Trail & a distillery - part of a community-led social enterprise focused on regeneration. Thank you to Sam for having us!

We visited Lairg & District Community Initiative last year - Kirstin, the Trust's DO, showed us the different projects. Thank you Kirstin! The Trust enabled housing on the land they owned; refurbished the local playpark; delivered the Lairg Local Place Plan; organise Winter Fest... and much more!

This image shows the location of Lairg and District Community Initiatives in the Highlands. It shows the new playpark equipment, the housing that LDCI facilitated, and a view of the Loch in Lairg.
