Two days left to submit comments to the FCC; I've sent mine. This would set a dangerous precedent as stated below; what's to say the FCC wouldn't start flagging any gendered person in a story not acting in "traditional" roles? This is a modern day Hays Code in action

glaad.org/fcc/ I decided if they could use the slippery slope argument, so could I. What's next, a label for content that includes POC? Women? Thank you, @authorkaraj.bsky.social, for teaching me about the Comstock laws because I threw those in my comment too.

The Huula have polite language when dealing with the Matriline. The Free Fleets are as vulgar as you would expect pirates to be, zero fucks. The core of SaeFed rely heavily on knowing the in-language for certain social scenarios, and the crew finds it challenging at best. #MayWorldbuilders

Good morning, #MayWorldbuilders! In your conlang or otherwise fictional languages, do they have degrees of formality ingrained in the language? Do they have "polite" vs. "informal" speech? How does it work?

The Frieran angle thing is so great because *every* artist knows that angle is tough. They've all been through it, learning the hard way how to do it. To a non-artist it doesn't seem like a hard problem. A non-artist who only wants to be seen as an artist, will use genAI instead of learning it.

In the grottos beneath Huula Mesa on the moon of Salus, the clan cultivates bioluminescent fungi and glow worms to light the walking paths and mark the tunnels that lead outside. Also, there is Brewshroom, who's flesh gives just enough sugars to brew a weak alcohol. #MarchWorldbuilders

At the center of the market deck on the pirate capital ship Mother's Blood, there is an old Sitka Spruce tree growing among the mists that the fountain kicks up. It is the only tree that many on board will ever know. A miraculous wonder from the forests of old Earth. #MarchWorldbuilders
