fun facts have a way of increasing misinformation. a lot of times they get shared by people who don't know a lot about the subject so its easy for wrong ones to be spread. and also even when they're true, people have a knack to focus on them so much they change other aspects involving the thing

Words of warning, apparently the switch port of tales of eternia got rid of multiplayer...was looking forward to playing it with my brother. Im still gonna play it cause its finally a version with the skits translated and even voiced but im disappointed...

A lot of people feel weirdly attacked whenever this is mentioned, but arcade games in general lose so much when not played to 1CC. And the thing is, you don't even *have* to get the 1CC. Just mentally flipping that switch and setting that goal is more important than actually getting it.

Painful review of the Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle on Steam that really highlights how destructive the continue system was to people's perception of arcade games. The beat 'em ups mentioned play wildly different from one another if you're actually trying to survive on 1 credit.
