God I am beyond thrilled. The special edition in particular has come out absolutely amazingly. Can’t wait for you all to see this! 🤖💫
*explaining fire emblem* so it’s like chess but with personified pieces, every eight years one comes out and it’s the greatest story ever told, then halfway through that time period they release another one where the main character is the Colgate man
I love that there’s absolutely no contact information on either side.

Reached credits on Blue Prince on the 16th day (I think that’s good?) Good game, terrible decor.
Watching the UK stream is honestly a Nintendo Direct hack. Everything is 5% less stupid and ALSO, they just subtitle the Japanese developers rather than overdubbing them, so you can hear eg Eiji Aonuma being adorable talking over the Zelda demo rather than a voice actor performing over him
They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.
They changed Dededee's face design yet again, poor guy can't go one game without Nintendo forcing him to undergo cosmetic surgery smh
Even if that Kirby game is a solid 6/10 for most of its runtime we all know its gonna have an 11/10 anime-esque climax as is tradition.
Irrespective of what your opinion of the remake's aesthetic are, it feels melancholic to look back on Nakano's official art for Ocarina, and how far the modern interpretation of the same source material has shifted.
Like with the Halo remake, it's not even that the visuals look bad or the game unplayable, it's more a reaction to the sense that the soul of this thing you used to like might be getting swept away in the broader current of how art gets made now.
Thing that had the biggest impact on me that whole direct was Castle Town. That's prime real estate right there.
I’m excited to be excited about the ocarina remake, because right now I feel NOTHING.

Currently I’m just waiting for the last few illustrations to slot in and then the new issue is 100% complete. 🙌

I'm at a bit of a low point. Still waiting to hear back from kickstarter about the specifics of how we navigate the VAT refund. I've had a sinking feeling in my stomach for days now, and just want this resolved. 🫠 Mostly, I'm just really tired.

Been having an absolute nightmare recently with taxes and kickstarter's pledge manager and it's making me question why I even do what I do. Does anyone know of any tax / shipping experts I could consult, or people who have been using kickstarter's new pledge manager? I could really use the help. 🙏
