My two youngest kids decided today was the day they wanted to try acclaimed Switch game Mario Kart 8. We don't own it, so we went on an adventure! 11 stores later: *1 library *6 pawn shops *2 game stores *2 mixed media stores Nothing. I got this pile of stuff for $25 bucks though

August 3 2001, Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage debuted on the N64 in PAL territories! Another H2O entertainment developed game (like yesterday's The New Tetris) it wears the badge of "Only Nintendo 64 RPG To Not Be Released In Japan"! And it has permadeath! Who doesn't love permadeath in an RPG?!!
Joe is a good friend of mine and as someone who has seen a lot of this book, it's absolutely amazing The time I put into attempting to convince people to try Japanese exclusive N64 games is like a grain of sand compared to the work he put into this book about the Famicom Please, check it out!

dream bumpslash game.. - quest64y world with combat encounters in between towns. 3rd-person walking + camera shifting to top-down for fights - harder enemies/no double jump, rethought subweapons/guns - ancient e. asia setting..wuxia..buddhism - system that forces u to practice getting between towns
early angeline era overworld test from 2023. the bits at the end really make me want to play something with a blocky overworld that's harder to navigate and more in-between a map and a level

August 1 1998, Pocket Monsters Stadium debuted on the N64 in Japan! In this version, there are only 42 playable Pokémon instead of all 151 gen one Pokémon, with Pikachu being the only one not "fully evolved" It's occasionally referred to as Pokemon Stadium Zero to save confusion! (see below)
