Some ideas my wife and I had: - Purchase a semi-niche-but-not-quite-dying video game IP just to own it. Wouldn't be able to afford to employ people to make a game for it, it would just go from silently dying in one person's hands to my own.

because that is the nature of the game. because when i was thinking about it last night, I went "everyone will just say they'd spend money helping people out, which would be boring. so we'll move to the next step: the exercise must push you to be creatively funny"

Been working on a little side project for a community I'm in. Basically put together a set of cipher/encryption puzzles for folks to solve for fun! The puzzle creation has gone well, but the time investment was far more than I anticipated 😂 Good fun though, great low-tech design practice.
