If your idea of feedback is to hurt the other person, not help, youโre not good at giving it. You need to be able to point out the positives too. So many creatives are fearful of feedback, even from peers, because your work is being put under a microscope. Be kind & encouraging to each other. Damn.

I'm not an editor. I don't have that skill. I DO, however give good crits. I had two people this week say that I helped them. This is a bad take.
I finished the main campaign for Hades 2 last night & I am still justโฆ in awe. I know people are already familiar with these games but having finally played one through myselfโฆ I have no words. As bittersweet as it is, happy Bungie Day ๐ I remember helping plan BD โ23 & participated on a panel that was broadcasted to the whole studio. That day remains so special to me. Despite everything, Iโm forever thankful for the amazing people I got to meet & work with. I miss them all so much โจ

Layoffs are bad for the industry, and anyone celebrating them is an unmitigated piece of shit.
Destiny didnโt fall short of expectations, LEADERSHIP did. Some of the most out of touch people who only saw the $ & held a beloved franchise to the coals because it didnโt fit their margins. Devs suffocated under the immeasurable weight of their greed. Everyone who has worked there deserves better.
