One of the most thoughtful and talented artists making music today just released a new album. When I filmed my HBO special, I was really honored that Syd came out and had such kind words afterwards.
Sometimes everything at a show just clicks. Last night in Toronto was one of those nights. I’m always chasing the perfect show, even though I don’t think it really exists. Most nights, I leave thinking about the jokes I could’ve told better or the moments I could’ve pushed a little further.
