Anticipate needing to boil/filter water. Big Berkey is a good brand though $$$. The less 'intense' brands (Brita, etc) are better than nothing. Need about a gallon of water/day/person for drinking, food prep, hygiene, etc. Remember pets !! Bleach helps, and is cheap- only need drops.
