Next step on the vampire bat game: Our programmer created a building editor so I mocked up some quick assets to test out how how the 9-slicing works with the 1bit style. It’s working pretty well, just have to polish these and make a bunch of variations. #1bit #gamedev #gamejam #gameart #vampirebat

Now to make our little vampire bat player fly. The fun thing about using a very dark red as a colour is that it looks black here, but red when I use it to fill the background in. You have to be really intentional with colour choice in 1bit. #vampirebat #gamejam #1bit #gamedev
