apologies for the little bit of radio silence there! turns out september is extremely busy in salem and i was on shift constantly :V im so tired but i do my first solo tour as a guide this weekend

(Seasonal) work is really ramping up already, and it’s not even really the spooky season yet - a little intimidated by that and hoping i have the energy to get through it - i guess the dang travel channel was there today for filming anyway, back to finishing up porn

Working a seasonal job in Salem is absolutely wild so far. I've been training the past week and finally have time off to work on remaining commissions before things get into the big seasonal swing - but don't worry, there're def more hockey pieces coming and a couple YCH as well!

AND I got into the welding program !! I start in late October so that’ll be a tricky bit of fiddling with my schedule between the seasonal job and the night classes, since it’s big times in Salem, but I really wanna do this

perhaps I should have done the training schedule for getting out at 3:30 but the new job is very nice! stayed from open to close, still gonna need to learn a bit more, the tourists are nice

i love hockey

getting my office back this weekend! Been working from a very uncomfortable set up with my pc in the bedroom for a month, so im v excited to have an actual chair to sit in again and a desk for my tablet also hoping i get into this welding program but thats a whole other thing

the depression is so strong that i am feeling the pull to smoking cigarettes again, but my boyfriend would despise me if I did this again

back to work tomorrow - still having rough moments when i expect to hear duchess or where i wish she was curling up with me, but i can’t continue grieving or ill be sad forever and thats no way to live

duchess left us this morning at 9am, I’m heartbroken but she left safe and comfortable in her own bed I’ll miss her a lot, this dumb gross baby

everything is scheduled, we’re saying goodbye on Friday I’ll try my best to get work out to everyone this week, I’m just going to be distracted

also sad news: my beloved cat is nearing the end of her life, unable to gain weight and having IVs at home for hydration. it’s been taking a lot out of me and it’s looking like it will be sooner rather than later, and I’m crushed I hope she knows I love her

too sick this year for anthrocon but gonna be trying to get all art out the door by the time yall filthy animals return! maybe next year my body will be better and I can make it again ❤️

once these sell I’ll also be popping up some of my more usual YCH multi character auctions and reopening commissions as well! they’ve been great fun while working off the queue!
