Even @politico.eu Playbook noticed it: this summer, cooling off at the Lithuanian seaside is the thing to do. Choose your perfect getaway - whether it's the natural beauty and calm of the Curonian Spit, the lively port city of Klaipėda, or the relaxing amber haven of Palanga.
If only asking for an emoji was this easy. Nothing captures 'summer' quite like pink cold soup, a stack of wild strawberries, long evenings by the bonfire with a crown of flowers and herbs, or hot air balloons floating over Vilnius.
Have you heard of the 5% club? NATO's latest estimates show that Lithuania has already met the benchmark set at the NATO Summit in the Hague, and now spends 5.33% of its GDP on defence, the highest share among NATO Allies.
