In the foreground, two bipedal foxes stand together on the top of a grassy, windblown hill as three, withered leaves circle by in the wind. The very same wind carries their fur and hair, with the right figure's hair almost trailing away due to its significant length compared with their companion, who their hand is placed on the back of as a form of reassurance. They are both faced away from the viewer, and through a thick frame of clouds, they look below at a mist-covered expanse of otherwise glimmering water. Protruding from the water are five peculiar, but naturally-formed arches, and further off into the background are land masses with distant city buildings nestled onto them, as well as a far-away road(?) of sorts crossing up high, from one side to another. Furthest away is the sun, which either rises or sets behind a gap between the structures. The entire piece is mostly, if not entirely monochrome, assuming several vibrant, yet soft orange and brown hues.
