Do you understand how difficult it is to get a sustained increase of 0.5% of GdP in the UK. It is enormous. Far more than anything the UK can do without Europe, including all its trade deals combined. I get you don't like it/us. But you can't have your own facts.
The problem with the Brexit referendum in 2016 is that *both* sides of the argument were quite mad. Nothing has changed since. England needs to fundamentally change. Right now she is such a bad fit with the EU that it really is just a waste of everybody’s time and energy.
Weirdly, the “Rejoin” folk spend all day posting bogus polls and grasping at straws if any mainland European says anything remotely positive about the UK maybe being allowed to join. Top tips: - Start calling yourselves Reapply - Start promoting the benefits of Schengen and € - Think as Europeans
No, I don’t trust the UKG They will be trying to gain as many benefits as possible while giving back the least possible to Europe Despite all the positive noises recently we still haven’t reached a point where we will accept the 4 freedoms unconditionally
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.
Today is Saturday. It's the first time l have heard John Swinney & the SNPs Conference mentioned on the radio. Oh, sos, l heard Nick Robinson misconstrue 🏴s Brexit vote as divisive in an interview with oor FM on Wednesday. It's going as planned by the Unionist dominated media.

Brexit is an English thing that only the English can resolve. Northern Ireland is on a seperate path to the EU via United Ireland. Scotland will join EU when Independent. The catharsis of no UK & no GB might finally facilitate a sober dialogue in England.
Note how Burnham wants to reduce the power of Holyrood and the Scots people under the pretence of giving individual towns and villages of Scotland more power thanks to Westminster! Don't believe him as he tries to trick you!
Ex-BBC Director-General, last year. The key words are, 'Win over' & 'adapted'. No news service has to 'win over' viewers. They must report accurate & unbias news. The most sinister word is 'adapted'. Twisting news & introducing bias to support their plan. It's a scandal that they even consider it.
Fuck right off...ya can keep knocking!....🖕🖕🖕

Many, many Scots have long woken up to the fact that BBC Scotland is nothing more than propaganda for UK govt, if you listen to it you'd think Scotland was the worst place in the world to live, never has a good word to say about scotgov mitigating a lot of the 🐂💩 WM has imposed on us.
BBC Scotland is not really hiding the fact that it’s just another arm of the UK establishment. Live broadcasting Andy Burnham’s speech while not providing live coverage of the SNP conference. Shameful and brazen.
There's no high-speed rail line from Scotland to England and no passenger route to Europe. But there are 3 interconnectors for our power.
On Question Time last night, I talked about the extractive economic model that has left Wales - and many other nations - impoverished *because they were so rich in resources*. You can see the problem simply by looking at the map: the infrastructure looks like a drainage system.
The key word here is "in". Burnham has zero intention of passing more powers to Holyrood. He wants Scotland treated as an English region with metro mayors funded directly by Westminster, bypassing our Government. Labour "devolution" is actually centralisation.

Independence isn't about walking away from our neighbours. It's about walking beside them as equals, working together to tackle shared challenges and building a future based on friendship, respect and cooperation. #SNP26
My latest blog piece - Pulling focus, Burnham and Badenoch's transparent attempts to distract attention from the SNP conference reveals how scared they are of the Celtic Alliance and rising support for Scottish independence. weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2026/10/17/p...
Pulling Focus
It’s a sign of how spooked they are by the Celtic Alliance and the question of Scottish independence that just won’t go away that both Andy Burnham and Kemi Badenoch decided to pay visi…

Why do you keep banging on about France? We have 27 members. Lift your horizons. The application process entails treating every single one of our member states with respect . England dragged Scotland out of the EU against our will, so 100% of the Brexit pain is your fault. Own your mistakes.
English entitlement off the scale 👆 Non-members are not entitled to membership benefits.
Macron said he would welcome you if you accepted the rules of the club but the latter part never gets heard in Britain. And there is no contradiction here: you are not a member and France has every right to exploit that, just like you tried to exploit the "benefits" of Brexit.
It’s clear that the people of Scotland are starting to settle on independence being the way forward, despite the best efforts of Tory-YouGov, who continue to ‘weigh’ their Scottish independence polling with 2014 data, where a massive proportion of elderly (mostly now deceased) people voted NO 🏴🇪🇺😎

Since 2014, 815,000 people have become old enough to vote. Added to the 574,000 people still living who didn’t vote in 2014, that amounts to 30% of the current electorate. They would like a say! #indyref2
I’ve added more data looking at Yes support among those who didn’t vote in the 2014 #indyref. It has climbed from just over 50% in 2018 to 70% this month. Worth also noting that, while in 2018 this group made up just 4% of voters, they now make up around 27%.
Scottish Independence #Indyref2 voting intentions: 👍 Yes: 47.0% 👎 No: 42.7% 🙄 D/K: 10.3% Survation, F/W 18 Sept to 12 Oct 2026 Interesting that Survation are now using differential mortality rates in their 2014 weighting. Sample is still light on new voters though.
The political editors of both BBC Scotland and STV were in Lanarkshire today rather than the SNP conference in Aberdeen. Don't tell me the date of the PM's visit was accidental!
England, like many grumpy oldies, has selective hearing. They only hear what they want to hear. They are not getting full market (4 pillars) without €uro either.
Prediction: FoM will also apply to any comprehensive customs-union deal with the UK
