I thought I was taking a break from posting. From helping people grow. From showing up, connecting, replying, sharing, being present here. But most days, I was just trying to learn a new rhythm with a baby who needed all of me. There were moments I felt guilty. Like I was falling behind. Like everyone was building, posting, growing, moving forward, while my world had become feeding, holding, changing, rocking, and whispering "please sleep" in the dark. Then one day, while holding my baby close, I realized something. I was not behind. I was beiing taught. Patience. Presence. Love without applause. Growth that happens quietly, while no one is watching. Motherhood has made me softer. More tired, yes. But also more grateful. More human. More aware that everyone is carrying something we cannot see while they are trying to grow. So I am back here. Maybe slower. Maybe not perfectly consistent. But with a bigger heart, and an even stronger wish to help people grow on Bluesky, find their voice, and feel less alone while building. I've actually been here the whole time... just in a different way. Behind the scenes, I've been helping others build their voice on this platform. Refining how they show up, how they connect, how they stand out in all the noise and how they generate attention and grow. It's been meaningful, creative, and honestly kind of addictive. But somewhere along the way, I stopped showing up for myself. Standing in front of the Colosseum brought something up for me. This thing has lasted thousands of years, not because it shouted the loudest, but because it stood with presence and intention. That hit me. I don't need to post often or loudly, but when I do, it'll be deeply me. So here I am. Back, and glad to be.

Once your words reach beyond your circle, you'll trigger someone's insecurity, boredom, or weirdness. So the question isn't how to avoid hate - it's how to face it without becoming hard or hollow. 1. Understand what hate really is. It's not feedback. It's projection. Fear. Jealousy. Loneliness. Confusion. People lash out at what makes them feel small or unsure. When someone calls you fake, cringe, manipulative - pause. Ask: What part of them is speaking? Most of the time, it's not about you. It's their insecurity wearing your name. 2. Respond like people are watching. Because they are. Don't reply to the hater - reply for the quiet readers. They're watching to see if you'll spiral or stay grounded. Kind, calm, clever replies win trust. Examples: • "Not everyone likes my approach - that's okay." • "Thanks for the perspective." • "You might be right. Or not. Still, appreciate the read." Grace is power. 3. Don't perform for people who hate you. Don't dilute your voice to avoid judgment. Don't write for people who don't get it. You're not here to be universally liked - you're here to be felt by your people. 4. Block freely. It's not weakness. It's protecting your peace. Let them yell into the void. You're building something. 5. Stay human. Don't become what you're trying to resist. Speak with warmth. Rest. Touch grass. Even if your post is digital - you are real. Let them talk. "How are you doing today?" I get over 50 DMs like that every single day. And no matter how well intentioned I am, there's just no way I can respond to all of them'especially when they feel like they were copied and pasted to a hundred other people. Ironically, if I did try to respond to each one with the same answer, I'd probably get flagged for spam. Here's the truth: If you want to start a real conversation with someone new, please don't lead with "How are you doing today?" It's generic. Forgettable. And 9 times out of 10, it'll get ignored. Instead, do a little homework. Read their bio. Check their posts. Find something they clearly care about and ask a question that shows you actually noticed. Let's say they're obsessed with cats and always posting pictures of their Maine Coon named Tom. A better DM might be: "Tom is gorgeous! Be honest - how much do you spend on food for that big guy? I've been thinking about getting a Maine Coon too, but I'm worried I'll end up spending more on cat food than rent!" Or maybe you've come across a total bookworm. Try something like: "I saw you're big into reading. I'm planning a two month break from social this summer and want to get lost in some epic fantasy. Got any must reads? I'd love to hear your top recs!" The key is simple: Be genuinely interested in the person you're messaging. Start with something real, something specific. Show you actually give a damn. That's how you stand out from the 99% who send the same tired DMs every day. That's how you spark actual conversation. Don't be boring. Be curious.
