Can some explain the science behind me feeling sick or being injured or recovering after an ailment every Labor Day for the last several years? It's always something different but I always feel like crap.

I love it when roofers try to sell me a new roof. Them: After that big storm with hail- Me: Which storm are you referring to? Because I don't recall recent hail T: Uh, see, we have access to software that shows us storms M: I'm a meteorologist, so I do too T: ...oh

Hey @mda.org in your 60 second ad for #MDA75 you tout accomplishments, yet never mention or show Jerry Lewis, the man who put the organization's name on the map and helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars. The only Telethon picture you posted excluded Jerry. Why?

Random question, but has anyone here been to a large convention (like Comic Con) and would be willing to answer a few questions regarding how you meet the celebrities, get in the audience for panels, get tickets, etc? This is for book research.

I remember someone telling me once that Dolly Parton could have been a billionaire (her net worth was an estimated $650mil), but she gave away to too many charities, funded research and bought theme parks to create jobs. I think about that a lot.

I knew it would hurt when we lost Dolly but it hurts way more than I imagined. If there are saints, she was one of them. It's hard to imagine a world without her 💔

Like clockwork, the Muscular Dystrophy Association is using the nostalgia of the telethon to raise money now that we're approaching Labor Day. Did you know that MDA no longer pays for wheelchairs, braces, clinic visits, or flu shots? On top of that, millions more are going to salaries than research.

Spent four hours cleaning out and organizing the garage today. We're not done, but we made a huge dent. I'm now giving myself permission to be lazy the rest of the day.
