I don't use BlueSky that often, it seems like more people are, though. So let me just say that I recommend the movie "The Dead Don't Hurt."

A lot of the Trump voterbase should be understood as a consequence of having class-based suffering and maladies without a strong enough left that can provide class-consciousness and collective political logic as a pathway to overcoming those maladies.
Palestinians are being killed by a colonial apartheid state, and we're here to make our stance clear and simple: If you're a Zionist, antisemitic, Islamophobic, or pro-genocide, we will block you. We stand for the liberation of the Palestinian people.
I like the recent Chris Hedges interview - juxtaposing "corporate elite" against "oligarchic elite," which explains why the debate had Kamala praising Goldman Sachs and all the Wallstreet canon, and Trump posing somehow as an opposite of these things. Neoliberalism vs Authoritarian Capitalism.
Study what you find interesting, because none of us are guaranteed a future anyway. And if you think the humanities and history do not matter, think about all the people invested in trying to stop you from studying them, and ask why.

So when we say that BlueSky actually has the prospects to "replace" Twitter, what are we saying? (I was never a Twitter user really, but of course anything ruled by plutocrats is not good).
@court-fost.bsky.social Hey thanks for nagging me to join this thing. I actually never did do Twitter but this is actually not too bad of a place and so far does not seem to me to be too restrictive of an enclosure.
