Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers. Absolutely heartbreaking 😔 Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!

Me, taking the day off because I am McCursed with an illness I have yet to shake: Hm, I’m in the “oh woe is me I’m so lonely & useless & stuck inside” zone, I should go get some sunlight and fresh air on this peaceful morning. The humble gas-powered leaf blower: Allow me to introduce myself.

do I really have the energy for another round of 'why the Easter elements you think are pagan aren't, and why a load of Easter elements most people haven't even heard of probably are'

This isn't my usual content but there's infuriating, anti-labor legislation being weighed right now in the US to protect quartz manufacturers from consequences for their product causing silicosis in stone cutters at alarming rates- everyone needs to know about it: www.cbsnews.com/news/silicos...

Longtime college friend of mine, Mike Prinke, was among those laid off at Epic Games: he has been fighting terminal brain cancer, and now he, his wife, and kid, have no income or health insurance. Sharing here in hopes it can reach the right people on their behalf. #epicgames

Welcome to America, where the gutter repair guy can casually find a bullet lodged in your roof and not freak out at all because this is a pretty frequent thing for him.

Picture of a left hand, palm up holding a small bullet in the palm. The bullet is dirty and is mostly intact, though the tip is crushed.

Over the past week I’ve gone through over 1,500 portfolios. And this is my bi-yearly reminder, begging, pleading, make it one gallery page with your best art. If I have to navigate more than two clicks and I’ve got 800 more portfolios to review that day I’m going to dissolve into a pool of goo.

This country is governed by people who manufacture crises, lie to justify violence, and then tell us it’s for our own good. They wreck lives abroad while people here can’t afford to live. This isn’t strength or strategy and it doesn't make us safer. The opposite. It’s incompetence, cruelty, and rot.

Turns out working at DFTBA for a long time means that if you brag about me to how much a company gives to charity I will break out a calculator to figure out what percentage of your profit that is and I WILL judge you if it‘s comparatively pocket change.

oh god ok ttrpg told poorly - the gang fights a big scary demigod angel - multiple onscreen kisses in a boss fight? one did poison damage?? - 1 off a tpk - invented and then felt pathos for a furniture making hermit - Juggernaut puppet dies a tragic second death, coughs up protien milkshake - this:

man knocking over dominoes meme

small domino reads "its neat that TTRPG rules are a semi-diagetic holy writ" and the big domino it leads to reads "A house is a type of combatant the rogue can evade"

Every year our neighbors decorate their backyard with inflatable Christmas figures, so behold what stares into our house ever night from Halloween through new years.

A photo taken through a sliding glass door at night of a scene of several inflatable Christmas decorations. The Santa figure stares straight at the camera.
