Been playing MTG again and dove back into Modern. Been tweaking Jund Hollow One and it’s been a blast! It’s reasonable to be greedy with the mana base, since you are always looting and fetching for lands. Having the Stomping Grounds allows access to more flexibility in the sideboard. #MTG #Modern

Stopped playing Pokemon TCG Pocket for the most part. Couldn’t get over the $23 real dollars for a promo. Couldn’t get over the lack of product for the monthly subscription. “Gotta catch ‘em all” yeah buddy better open your wallet. If I use this account it will be for MTG from now on.

Deck #36: From The Heavens Dragonite has been around, but there are new options as of late. Manaphy coupled with Dawn can force fast Draco Meteor, especially with consistency with PokeComm. Fan Rotom can remove a target, making Draco Meteor more consistent! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #35: Ape Escape Pesky Leafeon / Irida or Dialga decks pissing you off? One-shot them with Flare Blitz! Infernape EX has no retreat cost and can hide behind Weezing until you Koga it away, nuke, and reset. Usually only needs 2 attacks to win! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #34: Nurture Nature With only 3 basics and 4 evolutions, Pokemon Communication is essential. Having multiple possible options for passive abilities on your Eeveelutions gives the deck several lines. Just play to your opponent’s weaknesses. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Haven’t posted a decklist in a bit, but now that the Pocket meta settled: Deck #33: BONK! Sudowoodo is the new Farfetch’d (go Team Venture!) and shreds the hyper-aggressive all-EX decks. Lucario lets Sudowoodo and Aerodactyl punch VERY hard. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #32 - Metalflies Brewing with A2 is more complicated, but lots of fun options. Try loading up your Yanmega with Dialga early and launching for 120-130! Or just let Melmetal do his thing if you have the draw. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

The new team behind the event is now @pacdiesel.bsky.social, @serrisfroon.bsky.social, Swivel, Shelter , and @woahkeny.bsky.social with merch designs by @therealgenesis9.bsky.social, @ayonessbu.bsky.social, @zahiraines.bsky.social, and @justwharton.bsky.social

The Chicago Summit is finally back! Taking place on March 14th and 15th at the Creative Arts Center in Romeoville, the best of the best in Chicago Smash Ultimate will face off against each other in an invitational-exclusive format to crown the best player in Chicago.

Hey all, regarding Chicagoland Summit. We are still working diligently on the compendium re-launch and are awaiting details to be able to launch it properly. Sorry for any delays to this point. I promise it will be worth it for the revamp. Should be ready soon. Stay tuned!

Deck #31 - Primeval Leeks I’m so happy. My favorite Pokemon is very viable again with Leek Slap doing 40 on turn one (50 with Giovanni) and it beats a lot of things. Hitmonlee is Magikarp insurance, Marshadow is aggro insurance, the deck is very cohesive. Enact PRIMEVAL LAW! #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Top 500 now I guess lol

Not competing in Smash currently (hand injury), so I’ve spent two weeks getting back into the MTG grind. Esper Aggro feels insane. Hopeless Nightmare is a card I would have personally designed. My list has some tech in it, all of which has performed very well. Back into Top 1500 again! 💪

Deck #30 - BOYFRIEND Use the Chatot mimic to dump a bunch of random cards to improve the statistics of always having Nidoqueen and Nidoking. Nidoqueen does all the work staying at home with the kids while Nidoking goes out and parties. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

CHICAGO 2024 WINTER PR 1. ATATA 2. Sir Dank 3. Ravenking 4. Shelter 5. Revolver 6. Syphir 7. OnePower 8. ANJELLOH 9. Redacious 10. Eclipz 11. Tasabu 12. Yonnitheduck 13. Monem 14. Arctice 15. Solarose PLEASE SEE BELOW

Deck #29 - Vermilion City Gym Most decks now need to have a plan that either withstands a 140 damage attack or can deal 140+ in one attack. This goes the 2nd route. Get damage early with Pikachu EX and Electrode and be ready to load up Raichu in a pinch. ⚡️ #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #28 - Forest Spirits If I had to play a tournament tomorrow, this is the deck I would run. The optimal way to play Celebi IMO, Chatot 1x and a toolbox of options to get to Celebi + Serperior the most consistent & quick way possible. S tier deck easily. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

RIVALS 2 UPDATE 📢Frosty Faustings XVII will be running the latest patch. We will also be allowing Etalus for tournament play, with the exception of individuals who have had early access to the character. ⏲️Full detailed rules for Rivals 2 coming soon! Register: Start.gg/FFXVII2025

Deck #27 - Smokestack Only using Dark energy, the goal is to get Weezing online with a Hypno so that opponents need to battle through Smokescreen + sleep while Greninja chips away. Limited deck space makes this one tricky to use but it’s nasty when it works. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #26 - Sweet Scent Give yourself some interesting tech in your 🍃 deck! Victreebel can trap weak Pokemon into having no escape, and Pokemon Flute can combo to get a bonus point! Also multiple Exeggutor lines, both aggro and countering big energy decks! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #25 - Primeval Law Hope everyone’s holiday season has gone well! Let’s pick back up with Primeape and Marshadow being backed up by a nasty 140hp, 80dmg prehistoric flying rock bird. Aerodactyl EX can win early, but so can all of these options. #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

New shelf addition. My favorite Mario universe character.

Deck #24 - The Vortex Articuno EX can defeat 130hp enemies like Mew and Celebi in two hits with a Giovanni. Players stacking energy into one outlet can just get brutalized by the whirlpool. Not sure how competitive this is but winning with it feels amazing! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #23 - Darkness Revisited Whirlipede into Scolipede finally gives the Dark decks a real nasty curve out next to Weezing. Arbok was fine, but Scolipede is a stronger tank and Leaf allows for more withdrawal options. Deck versatility is more common now! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Streaming some FF7 Rebirth twitch.tv/pac_diesel

Deck #22 - Metal Birds! This is a strong answer to Celebi EX. Heavy Impact + Giovanni one shots anything in the Grass decks except the rogue Venusaur builds. Turn 1 Amass, Turn 2 Evolve into Melmetal. Pidgeot EX is a good backup plan. Make sure you pick the right Pidgeotto! #PTCGPocket #Pokemon

Deck #21 - Mythic Dragons Kicking off the Mythic Island set with a spicy one! Dragonite and Starmie has been attempted a few times, but the Mew EX gives the Genome Hacking ability to this very nasty pile of attacks. Gonna be fun brewing with these cards! #PokemonTCGPocket #PTCGPocket #Pokemon
