🗝️ Key findings: * Lower amplitudes felt more pleasant and less arousing. * Vibrations on the back were less arousing and more pleasant than on the front or both sides (front and back). * The perceived intensity of vibration seems to play an important role in shaping emotional experiences.

#IASAT in Jena was such a gem! Great to see so many people I met at Festival of Touch & make new connections. I'm looking forward to continuing conversations and building on these connections made. Looking forward to the next conference 🥳🫴🏽 In the meantime, let’s hug more often on Tuesdays 🫂

Members of HapLab are having two marvellous days full of science, active touch and creative ideas at our partner lab INM Saarbrücken, Interaktive Oberflächen (Roland Benewitz). Soo fruitful and enjoyable!!!

Briefly, we investigated whether people learn to associate neutral vibration patterns with boredom and stress. If so, would this influence their time perception. Shortly, we showed associatively learned boredom but not stress modulates perceived time.

These results offer important insights for our EU-FET OPEN project ChonoPilot where the overarching goal is to manipulate human time perception using multimodal stimulation. Great work Bora!
