The Bills will be in pads to start Monday’s practice, but then will take them off for the 11-on-11 period. Pads will be back on during that period tomorrow.
Bills coach Joe Brady said that “we’re fortunate” when it comes to safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. “We got good news. We’ll see how his body recovers.”
Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins said that he heard from coaches during practice that C.J. Gardner-Johnson is OK, but the team has no update at this time.

The Bills cut WR Jalen Virgil with a non-football injury designation, per the transaction wire. He did not pass his physical on Tuesday. The team had five players in for tryouts after practice today:
