Interesting to see The Economist advocating for increased capital gains taxation. Still the most inexcusable tax break for the wealthy (thanks Chrystia Freeland for at least trying).

Really useful chart from @graphicmatt.com newsletter about where Mayor Chow's administration has spent more money beyond inflation and population growth, and for what. Good basis on which to choose whether one supports her priorities. Note here were also spending reductions elsewhere.
