Had a lovely evening at The Argyle Jam last night with Nikki MacLeod and @zosiasamosia.bsky.social. First time playing at a jam session in about 15 years. Some fudgy notes coming out of that saxophone, but it's nice to be gradually getting back into playing some jazz again after a long long time

What an excellent evening at the queer data showcase! Thanks to @kevinguyan.bsky.social for organising it. A really interesting mix of queer research, archival engagement and a bit of saxophone
The Queer Data showcase is fantastic. Lots of excellent funny, thought-provoking presentations and my highlight so far has been @katherinewyers.bsky.social with improv sax accompanying her story of the emotional toll of queer fieldwork.
