I wish more doctors in Berlin were kind. Being an Ausländerin is already difficult. Having a Chronische Erkrankung is already difficult. Both together are so traumatic. Impatience & cold demeanor only make it all the more traumatic, humiliating, & confusing. I am grateful for access + affordability.

I used to swear up & down that I love a hot summer, but I think I actually only love the relentless silica gel packet dryness of central Texas summer heat from 15 years of climate change ago. This ever fluctuating heat-death-of-the-planet wet t-shirt contest of a Berlin summer is not it.

Sometimes I can take to the streets for protests & marches, but often chronic pain keeps me at home, so I find other ways to support the frontline from the sideline. This morning I hand-painted a trans pride flag, & by evening it was flying high over a crowd of marchers. #resist #antifascist #berlin

The photo shows an overhead view of a wrinkled trans pride flag featuring large, hand-painted lettering that reads, "The Transexual Menace."The photo shows a progress pride flag and "The Transexual Menace" hand-painted trans pride flag waving against a blue sky during a protest march in Berlin, Germany.

For 30 years, my No.1 guitar has been my 1996 Squier Strat. I love that guitar so incredibly much. But lately, I am having trouble relating to it. I pick it up & I don't think of Ritchie Blackmore anymore, or feel the awe of when I watched Jeff Beck channel actual divinity through his Strat.

At the CSD Memorial rally on Sunday, a crying stranger hugged me while I cried. He, a big German gay bear. Me, a little American lesbian transsexual. We just held each other. No words exchanged. He gave me a Taschentuch. 💜💔💜

Organizers of Dyke/Pride marches: Sound is not simply loud, it is directional. Thousands of people spead out in all directions cannot hear speeches or musicians. Their voices & songs are going nowhere. Just fucking march.

90 years is apparently not enough time to figure out how to mix the front of house at Berlin Olympia Stadion. The sound is comically atrocious. I hope it gets better for Die Toten Hosen.

Cringe does exist, but it's not your songs, or the way you dress, or the art you make, or the stories you write, or any way that you don't measure up to the impossible standards of capitalism. Cringe is abusers in office, nazis running political campaigns, billionaire sociopaths as role models...

It's such a nice night to have the windows open, except one of my neighbors is cooking something that smells unbelievably delicious. At 1am. They may as well be having a rave for how difficult it makes it to relax. I guess I'm going to sleep hangry. 😒

I redid my entire studio desk to accomodate a larger powered USB docking hub that allows me to have ALL of my storage connected, plus run my interface with no noise, & have 2 external monitors, which, if you know, is a challenge with M series MacBooks. It looks great, sounds great, feels great!

As far as making $$ from streaming goes, Apple Music is pretty good, but ferkin' A, I really hate Apple Music for Artists. The account security is so complicated, so confusing, & so difficult to get help on because, Apple. None of the other streaming platforms make it this hard. 🤬
