Gloria Steinem has passed away. Long ago, my parents used to force me to go to church each Sunday. One time the pastor made a comment about "people who were destroying America, like Carl Sagan and Gloria Steinem." I liked Carl Sagan. Gloria Steinem was new to me. I took it as a recommendation.
I have a question for every mother in Texas-Who would you rather have as a son-in-law:Talerico or Paxton? If you can't imagine Paxton being welcome as a member of your family how can you vote to make him a member of the US Senate, a branch of our governing family. All elections are personal & local.
Gloria Steinem died with fewer rights than she had during her lifetime. That fact needs to be front and centre of every media report, every dedication, every discussion of her death.

I thought this was a joke but it is true...the U.S. government announced $500,000 in emergency disaster assistance for people affected by deadly flash floods in Nepal. THE RICHEST NATION ON THE PLANET DID THIS ? A $1/2million-WE ARE BEYOND DISGUSTING. WE ELIMINATE USAID&THEN WE CUT THIS SIZE CHECK.
Imagine if the NH Democratic Party had set out a set of rules for candidates in the primary. No PAC money, no corporate money, a limit of 20% of total amount raised coming from out of state and a limit of 20% of campaign cash to come from the candidate themselves.
