#Machu had his first successful flight last night. He’s been a difficult jerk who would just fly straight into the abyss and wasn’t reliable with recall. We were all holding our breath’s waiting to see if he’ll return. He went really far, taking the other bird with him but came down eventually.

I thought you might also check out @siennaf.bsky.social Hers are a little more fantasy - there's an oracle who sees the future - but other than that I don't know of any magic or magical creatures in them. And there's definitely suffering & anguish.

So…onto reading glasses now at 46. This is the only painful part about aging so far besides my knees. 😭
