In February, the Kansas state legislature passed a law that required all driver’s licenses to reflect sex at birth. Roughly 1,700 intersex and transgender Kansans received a letter saying to get new licenses, including Dakota West. Now, she’s suing. https://wapo.st/3VaB9yX

BREAKING: The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to allow essential health care to be withheld from transgender people in federal prisons. Denying medically-necessary care to any incarcerated person is cruel and unusual punishment — period.
Because of our lawsuit, no patient records from NYU or Mt. Sinai have been disclosed to the DOJ as part of these settlements — and that block remains in full effect. It’s beyond shameful that the Trump administration has strong-armed these hospitals into a deal that betrays New York families.

The hospital system will pay $8.5 million, similar to the “monetary penalty” paid by Mount Sinai earlier this month.

After banning them from the military, Pete Hegseth's Defense Department is withholding tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in severance from transgender veterans, some of whom are now homeless or relying on food banks to feed themselves and their families because of it
Core question in this case is whether the administration acted with animus towards trans people when they implemented a Trump order claiming trans people are inherently lacking "integrity," not helped every time Hegseth calls us "trannies" to make himself giggle
The Trump administration has asked the Supreme Court to allow the U.S. military to discharge roughly two dozen transgender service members in a case that could decide the constitutionality of President Trump’s transgender troop ban.
Kansas' new law preventing transgender people from having accurate identification or using the right bathroom is an alarming intrusion on our rights and safety. Kansas, we'll see you in court.

I'm so thankful to Becky and her mom for their trust, generosity, and strength in front of the Supreme Court. No matter what the Court says, Becky is a hero for standing up for herself and trans girls like her. Doing what's right, even when the odds are against you, is the definition of courage.
BREAKING: We're suing the Department of Justice for demanding a New York City hospital turn over private medical records about trans youth who've received gender affirming care. The goal of these baseless subpoenas is clear — pressuring providers into dropping patients and obeying President Trump.
BREAKING: We just temporarily blocked enforcement of a Kansas law banning gender-affirming medical care for transgender people under 18. A state court found the law likely violates the Kansas state constitution.
Under Idaho state law a trans person would now face less of a penalty for peeing on the steps of the state capitol than using the "wrong" bathroom
BREAKING: We’re suing Idaho over a new state law banning transgender people from using the correct restrooms in all government-owned buildings and private businesses that are open to the public. This extreme law threatens felony convictions and up to 5 years in prison.
On Wednesday, our legal team will be at the Supreme Court defending the American tradition of birthright citizenship against President Trump's attacks. We're prepared to fight for babies born in the U.S.A. and the families who love them.

Harper to the judge: "Your driver's license doesn't list your height and weight at birth. It doesn't list where you used to live. It identifies who you are now."

BREAKING: We're suing Kansas for a law that invalidates transgender people's updated driver's licenses and authorizes anyone to sue anyone they suspect of being trans for using the "wrong" bathroom.
This effectively forces every trans person in the state to out themselves while applying for a job, renting an apartment, or being stopped by police. It's part of the same law that allows anyone to sue anyone else they suspect of being trans and using the "wrong" bathroom.
