Why I never post about politics online: The Facebook group for the town I teach in is doxxing liberal teachers who posted about yesterday’s shooting. They’ve shared contact information for teachers schools and are encouraging people to reach out and get the teachers fired.
TLDR I am ISO raffle prizes like physical TTRPG books, dice, dice bags, commander decks, booster packs, deck boxes, etc for a raffle in November AND people who want to run charity streams in October to support @dotsrpg.org 🖤
I’m a Mulan Stan with a disposable income, so recently I’ve been buying Disney pins off Reddit. People are so fucking nice. The amount of extras I’ve gotten when I mention I’m not a pin girly, just a Mulan fan… it makes my heart warm
Fun fact: if you pull a muscle in your shoulder and then catch a cold, sneezing becomes terrifying.
So grateful for a workplace that understands. Mom had a bad fall (so bad she doesn’t remember falling, just noticed a giant hole in her head). It’s terrifying and has consumed my every waking thought. I’ve had to cancel stream and a con appearance. But get nothing but love and support. 💜💜💜
Sleep is elusive but my excitement for GenCon is not!
It took two days to get here, but I’m settled and ready for my first ever GenCon! I’ll be at the @nerdburgercraig.bsky.social booth (#173) or wandering around with @wanderingshrink.bsky.social !! Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
Mid-stream break gave me time to get someone situated in her new bed! Clara always wants to sit with me when I’m gaming, but would lay on my hands/arms and make gaming tricky. Next goal is getting a second cam and set up a kitty cam 🤣

I feel bad for anyone who had only experienced a restroom with urinals. They’ve never experienced the “OMG I LOVE” gushfest from a stranger who just popped out of a stall. First she complimented my shoes, then my hair, then “omg sorry for assaulting you in a bathroom” 🤣🤣🥰

I started volunteering because I found myself at PAX by myself. Our volunteers are some of the nicest, most amazing people who make AFK feel like home. Give back to the community while also feeding your soul by volunteering with some of the best people on this planet!

I’ve always listened to both sides, owned my truths, and apologized and taken ownership of harm I’ve done. People lied on my name this year. And folks I thought were friends or who respected me never even asked for my side. My faith in humanity is struggling, yall.

I lost my shit today and if parents want to complain I could give a rats ass. My district has a large immigrant population and we are already getting reports of ICE raids. Today after lunch one of my white students told two of my South American students he was going to report them to ICE
So excited to have dr’s approval to wear glasses again! I had surgery on my nose Christmas Eve and have not been allowed to wear my glasses since. Eye strain and headaches have plagued me since. Yaaaaaay glasses!

Booked my room for PAXEast! Just a few minor…programs to run but like once that’s done.. Let’s go! (Also my early boring notice that I am available for panels—gaming with kids, mental health and gaming, charity/non profit, setting boundaries in games)
I’ve had a hard time finding joy in games, which is incredibly frustrating. I think part of the issue is on the long list of Things To Do in Little Time, gaming always gets cut. With new entries to two of my fav series, MH and AC coming out, I need to figure out a better way to organize my time.
