A little love letter from Tarot Crow, one of our retail partners in Seattle! We're so grateful to the shops and tarot lovers who have welcomed The Rebis onto their shelves. It means so much to see this project making its way into the hands of readers and tarot enthusiasts around the world.

A quote box that says, "“This is such a phenomenal publication for tarot enthusiasts. Each issue dives deep into personal correspondences with the Major Arcana, expressed through art and poetry. The archetypes contain multitudes and the Rebis digs deep into that rich soil with bare hands. My order came very quickly and in great condition.”

—Andrew, owner of Tarot Crow in Seattle, WA

Meet Allyn Bernkopf, who contributed a poem for our Moon issue in a new format that she created: a Trellis. It blew our minds & we cant wait for you to read it. Allyn is a Best of Net Nominee and an Academy of American Poets prize winner. She holds a PhD and an MA in English, Poetry.

Continuing our contributor spotlight series: meet Vanessa Pedroza, whose lush poem "US FOOLS" graces the pages of our upcoming Moon issue. She's a self-described "quiet-tongued misfit with half butterfly wing" and her writing is visceral and lush.

A person with dark hair holds up a handmade collage featuring a large moon, a sailboat, butterflies, seashells, flowers, and purple and pink paper. Small letter tiles on the collage spell “fight for your fairytale.” The person is looking toward the camera.

A glimpse into the making of The Moon... Here's a behind-the-scenes shot from the studio of our Creative Director, Xaviera Lopez. An early sketch, a wall of notes, and the beginnings of one of the original artworks you'll discover inside our upcoming issue. We can't wait to share more soon.

A minimalist white desk with an iPad displaying a line drawing of two wolves wrestling in a digital illustration app. An Apple Pencil rests nearby, while a mug holds paintbrushes and a few pencils lie on the desk. Above the workspace, a neat grid of handwritten notes is taped to the wall, suggesting storyboarding or creative planning.

Contributor Spotlight! Camaray Davalos (Payómkawichum) is a writer/filmmaker/collagist whose work explores Indigenous environmental & social issues, as well as the complexities of gender roles and identity. Camaray explores those themes with her essay and "The Male Moon" in our upcoming issue.

I began self-publishing poetry in 2021. I began submitting to lit mags in 2023. Got my first acceptance in 2024. Been published 18 times since then, but got 90+ rejections, too. I recently got an acceptance for a ~dream~ publication. To anyone putting their work out there: keep going.

Meet our Moon anthology contributors: 40+ shapeshifters, deep listeners & keepers of the night! This issue gathers poets, artists, filmmakers, scholars, and mystics whose work orbits the unknown. The Moon will be available in print Fall 2026. Read more: therebis.substack.com/p/moon-issue...
