Throwback to this how I got told that I don't need to be a caregiver to my mum, because she is doing so well. Anyways apparently she stage 4 pancreatic cancer and cannot even do chemo unless she manages to gain weight. Is it too petty to do a "told you so"?
TusTheRaccoon@raccoontus.bsky.social · 5mo agoI love it when my area wants to stop paying caregiver support even though I: * live with the person I'm a caregiver for * work as their legs, because they can barely walk * sacrifice work hours to take them to doctors * ensure their safety with meds and cooking * help them to get dressed
