Idiosyncratic producer, irritating dilettante and also a genius. CCTV FOOTAGE
if I survive this awful time, I promise never to be happy again so that when my entire system of management is again dissolved in the enzymes of earth, it will suck slightly less.
I’m aware that I cannot write, but some people are worse writers than I am.
My most right wing opinion is that the Right to Bear Arms should be universal worldwide.
Here’s my vocal masterclass: if you can’t hit notes, write good lyrics. If you can’t hit notes, have amazing delivery. Amazing delivery + good lyrics = 2 x hitting notes.
Here’s my advice on plugins: they do not make bad ideas sound good!
Here’s my advice for people starting in music: keep going!
Here’s my exclusive music lesson: being able to play an instrument well does not mean you can write music!
Here’s my music journalism masterclass: you can’t write with your ears!
Here’s my mixing masterclass: can you hear everything? It’s mixed! Here’s my mastering masterclass: is it loud? It’s mastered!
Also, electric guitar manufacturing has basically perfected itself. What you can get for £250 now is insane.

This won’t stop people making music. Professionally? Maybe. But so what? It may even make manufacturing physical media (which is sacred) affordable again. Let stupid people do stupid things. Nobody who cares about music will be affected.
Sam Adams@samadams.bsky.social · 3w agoit is very cool to have the livelihood of every creative person on earth obliterated by people who don’t understand what art is for
